Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos has a lot of work to do if he wants the capital club to become a serious threat to win the UEFA Champions League for the 2023-24 season.
The Portuguese club chief will need to turn most of the squad over while keeping in mind Financial Fair Play monitoring their every move. Nonetheless, Le Parisien reported on Wednesday that there are seven players deemed non-transferable in Campos’ eyes.
Kylian Mbappé, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Nuno Mendes, Achraf Hakimi, Danilo Pereira, Marco Verratti and even Marquinhos are players whom Campos doesn’t want to part ways with this upcoming transfer window.
Names such as Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. are missing from the list, but goes consistently with the reporting in recent weeks that the Ligue 1 side would like to move off from the two players and the wages they command.
Furthermore, the French media outlet notes that Vitinha, Carlos Soler, Renato Sanches, Fabian Ruiz, Juan Bernat, and Hugo Ekitiké can all exit if a club is willing to pay the asking price. As for Sergio Ramos, it seems as though Campos is ready to let him walk as a free agent, too, as his contract expires in June.
I hope we sell Mbappe to use that money on strengthening the rest of the squad (he’ll probably leave for free next summer anyways)
