Christophe Galtier will appear to be one and done at Paris Saint-Germain as sporting advisor Luis Campos will attempt to reunite with another former manager he’s worked with in the past, AS Roma boss José Mourinho.
RMC Sport reported on Tuesday that Campos has not yet picked up his phone to discuss with Mourinho the possibility of coming to Paris. However, the idea of attracting the three-time Premier League winner is gaining ground with the sporting adviser.
While Mourinho’s track record speaks for itself, one concern over his potential appointment is whether his hot temper is compatible with all the players in the Parisian locker room.
The French media outlet adds that the Portuguese manager no longer hides in private that it would not turn a deaf ear if a proposal arrived on its table. Nonetheless, Mourinho does hold some power in any negotiating interest from PSG.
Mourinho currently has Roma in a UEFA Champions League position for the 2023-24 season and has the Italian side in the Europa League quarterfinals. If Campos and PSG want Mourinho, they must come to him with a convincing offer and project to the Serie A side.
