PSG Beginning Preparations for a Move Away From Parc des Princes – Report

Paris Saint-Germain could soon have a new home as the capital club eyes a reported move away from the Parc des Princes.

RMC Sport reported on Wednesday that PSG will officially apply for the takeover of Stade de France. The French giants have been prevented from buying the Parc des Princes by the town hall of Paris, leading to the possible move.

The French media outlet notes that the Ligue 1 side will file for the stadium takeover before noon on Thursday. Therefore, PSG has validated the project to apply to buy the Stade de France without producing elements to quantify the estimate.

While PSG is exploring other options, the Parisian side wants to stay in Paris, within the Porte de Saint-Cloud precinct, on condition that it becomes the owner of the Parc des Princes.

Discussions with the mayor of Paris are still at a standstill on the question of the sale of the Parc. Nothing says that the Parisian club will end its approach, but it prefers to cover itself with the Stade de France option.
