Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi once again made room in his already stacked trophy cabinet.

Messi recently won three IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) honors. He took home the IFFHS’ World’s Best Player, World’s Best Playmaker, and World’s Best International Goal Scorer awards for 2022.

For the IFFHS World’s Best Player 2022 honor, Messi won the award with 275 points. PSG forward Kylian Mbappe came in second place for the award with 35 points.

Messi took to Instagram on Sunday to react to winning these three prestigious honors.

“It was an honor to receive from the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) these three 2022 awards: IFFHS World’s Best Player, IFFHS World’s Best Playmaker and IFFHS World’s Best International Goal Scorer,” Messi wrote. “Thank you.”

Messi starred for both PSG and the Argentina national team last year, from winning Ligue 1 for the first time in his career to guiding La Albiceleste to triumph at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Overall, the Argentine forward has won a record 13 world awards from the IFFHS since 2011.
