Paris Saint-Germain will be in the market for a striker this summer transfer window and one of the targets constantly linked to the capital club is Napoli goal scorer Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen has a history with PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos as he had the player during his time at Lille OSC. As a result, the Portuguese club chief eyes a reunion; however, Chelsea legend Didier Drogba advises the Napoli goal scorer to remain away from the French giants.
“If he is really in the sights of a club like PSG, it shows the full extent of his talent and the season he is in the process of achieving,” Drogba said on Canal Plus (h/t Paris Fans). “But PSG is not the club he needs to continue his progress.”
These next few weeks leading into the summer transfer window will see the capital club linked to various players, but regardless, Campos has to bring in a striker that allows Kylian Mbappé to play a more free role at PSG.
Along with Osimhen, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani is another name connected to the Ligue 1 side. These names suggest that Campos wants to bring a young striker on the verge of hitting his prime years and with Ligue 1 experience.
It will be interesting to see if he can lure either player, who will cost a significant sum.
