Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi guided the Argentina national team to a 2-0 win over Panama on Thursday. Messi scored a late free-kick goal and also created two goal-scoring chances during the contest.
After the match, the entire Argentina national team took some time to celebrate its 2022 FIFA World Cup win in front of an electric Estadio Monumental crowd. Messi lifted the World Cup trophy, while all of his Argentina teammates held up World Cup trophy replicas that they each received.
