Much of the conversation regarding free agents at Paris Saint-Germain surrounds the future of Lionel Messi, but Sergio Ramos will also be out of a contract in June.
Furthermore, there’s not been much discussion over an extension. As a result, it appears the veteran defender’s days at PSG could be numbered, so he’s reportedly looking at other options.
Mundo Deportivo reported on Tuesday, citing sources, that Ramos has two destinations in mind for where he’ll play next season: Al-Nassr and the MLS. The Spanish outlet notes that the former Real Madrid captain is waiting for a signal from PSG before proceeding.
If the 36-year-old opts to join Al-Nassr, it would see him reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo, which could be the favorite destination. Nonetheless, heading to the United States is also an attractive destination, but no word on which club that would be yet.
As for PSG, it would be wise to move on from Ramos, get his wages off the book, and insert more youth into the central defense, which will have Milan Škriniar joining this summer.
