Sergio Ramos’ stint with Paris Saint-Germain appeared to be heading toward a departure as his contract expires in June. However, with the Achilles injury to Presnel Kimpembe, the French giants could make a U-turn.
L’Equipe reported on Thursday, citing sources, that Ramos wants to extend his contract with PSG. Nonetheless, discussions over a new deal are on standby for now, as both parties agreed not to rush things.
🚨 Sergio Ramos veut prolonger au PSG ! 🇪🇸
Discussions en stand-by pour l’heure, il a été convenu de ne pas précipiter les choses. Tout dépend de ses performances d’ici la fin de saison.
Aussi, comme Messi, il fait l'objet d'une cour assidue de l'Arabie Saoudite.

Additionally, Ramos remaining with the reigning Ligue 1 champions will depend on his performance by the end of the 2022-23 season. The big test for the former Real Madrid captain staying in Paris will come against Bayern Munich on March 8 at Allianz Arena.
If Ramos plays at a high level and helps the capital club advance to the quarterfinals, perhaps a dialogue can begin as the veteran would be PSG’s third center-back next season.
Milan Skriniar will be coming in and will likely anchor the backline and push every defender down a peg on the depth chart. Saudi Arabian clubs will be in the mix for Sergio Ramos as Al-Nassr would like to reunite him with Cristiano Ronaldo.
