Paris Saint-Germain will have one last tune-up before its UEFA Champions League round of 16 return leg against Bayern Munich, as it will meet Nantes for a home fixture on Ligue 1 matchday 26.
PSG has managed to turn the tide on its season as of late, picking up back-to-back Ligue 1 wins over Lille OSC and Olympique de Marseille. On the other hand, Nantes has come away with just one win from its last five fixtures in all competitions.
As noted by Ligue 1’s official website, PSG manager Christophe Galtier could roll out this starting 11 for matchday 26.
Donnarumma; Marquinhos, Ramos, Danilo; Mukiele, Vitinha, Ruiz, Zaïre-Emery, Mendes; Messi, Mbappe
Sergio Ramos once again orchestrated a keen performance for PSG against Marseille, as he logged five clearances and won two tackles on matchday 25. The Spanish defender could go on to make the 21st start of his league campaign on Saturday.
Much attention sure will center on whether Galtier will opt to start both Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi against Nantes. The two PSG forwards have combined for six goals in the side’s last two league contests.
PSG will look to make it three wins in three matches against Nantes this season.
