Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe starred in Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-2 Ligue 1 home win over Nantes on matchday 26.
Messi scored the 799th goal of his career during the first half of the fixture, while Mbappe later tallied the 201st goal of his ongoing run at PSG to become the club’s all-time leading goal-scorer.
After the match, Messi took to Instagram to issue his congratulations to Mbappe for breaking this impressive record.
“Congrats @k.mbappe on the record!!!!” Messi wrote.
Next up for Messi and Mbappe will be the second leg of PSG’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
