Lionel Messi, along with Kylian Mbappe, played the hero role in Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-3 comeback victory against Lille OSC on Sunday at the Parc des Princes.
After PSG got out to a 2-0 lead, the capital club fell 3-2 after three unanswered goals from Lille. With time winding down, Mbappe scored the game-tying goal and then Messi’s free-kick strike led to mayhem and even his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, couldn’t hide her reaction.

PSG had lost three straight games and hasn’t played well since the return of club football after the 2022 FIFA World Cup. As a result, everyone in the stadium, even Roccuzzo, let out their emotions after the Messi goal, knowing what it meant to the squad.
Now the French giants will hope to carry any momentum from the match against Lille into their next contest against Olympique de Marseille as they look to exact revenge over the rival for eliminating them from the Coupe de France.
