From his keen performances for PSG to his world-class showings at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Argentine forward sure was the clear-cut best football player in 2022.
PSG forward Kylian Mbappe was also among the finalists for the award, and he was all smiles when FIFA president Gianni Infantino revealed that Messi once again won this prestigious honor in his career.
