The future of Lionel Messi continues to be a topic of discussion as the 35-year-old’s contract expires in June and he’s yet to sign an extension with Paris Saint-Germain.
Regarding the latest Messi extension talks, TyC Sports’ Gastón Edul recently reported that the 35-year-old’s camp is only negotiating with one team, PSG.
Additionally, the Argentine reporter reveals that the capital club is offering Messi that would keep him with the Ligue 1 side until the 2024 Copa America. Meanwhile, Edul also notes that Inter Miami is a serious player.
Again… Leo Messi is only negotiating with ONE TEAM@PSG_inside. They will offer him the chance to renew until @CopaAmerica
He has a PROPOSAL from @InterMiamiCF but there is no official offer.
Things MIGHT change should he win the Champions.

The “PSG brass” spoke to Messi’s family in Qatar during the World Cup and expressed their to extend his stay in Paris. Right now, PSG is in a pole position to renew his contract.
Furthermore, Messi’s circle got extremely angry when there were reports stating that Leo to Inter Miami was a done deal at that time.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner reportedly has a proposal from the MLS club, but there is no official offer. Of course, the situation could change should PSG win the UEFA Champions League, which would be understandable.
If Messi wins the Champions League and World Cup, he could feel accomplished enough to say goodbye to competing at the highest level of football. He could then begin preparing for the final years of his career playing with the South Florida-based club.
