Report: PSG’s Projected Starting 11 vs. AS Monaco – Who Will Replace Messi?

On the heels of its Coupe de France round of 16 exit at the hands of Olympique de Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain will square off with AS Monaco on Ligue 1 matchday 23.

PSG heads into this Ligue 1 fixture with multiple injury concerns. For one, PSG will be without Lionel Messi against AS Monaco due to a hamstring injury that he suffered against Marseille on Wednesday.

As noted by TyC Sports, PSG manager Christophe Galtier could roll out this starting 11 for PSG’s 23rd league match of the season.

Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Ramos, Mendes; Pereira, Soler, Ruiz; Vitinha; Ekitike, Neymar

Sergio Ramos had a roller-coaster outing in PSG’s Coupe de France defeat to Marseille. From the penalty committed to the goal scored, the Spanish defender had his fair share of highs and lows in the contest. Ramos could go on to make the 20th appearance of his Ligue 1 campaign against AS Monaco.

Neymar will be relied on to lead PSG’s attack in this Ligue 1 contest. The Brazilian international is coming off of a quality performance against Marseille where he recorded an assist and created three goal-scoring chances for teammates.

PSG logged winless results in both of its Ligue 1 fixtures against Monaco in 2022.
