Report: PSG Denies Rumors of Possible Loan Departure for French Forward

Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos injected youth into the squad this past summer transfer window and it’s been a bag of mixed results. One of the marquee players that the capital club landed was Hugo Ekitike.

Ekitike has flashed his potential but has yet to find himself consistently in the starting 11. As a result, a report questioned his future in the French capital. However, any concerns of PSG looking to move on from the 20-year-old were quickly denied.

GOAL reported on Monday, citing sources, that PSG denies any reporting that states of a possible loan next season to allow him to harden up and find more playing time.

Before even being able to think of a potential loan, the French giants will have to fulfill the conditions to definitively acquire the player who arrived on loan with an option to buy for a sum of €28.5 million plus €6.5 million in bonuses.

This condition is simple: Finish in the top two in Ligue 1, and given the current pace of PSG, all scenarios are to be considered.
