Neymar has been in the news this week as the 31-year-old had a poker and fast food night in the aftermath of Paris Saint-Germain’s 1-0 first-leg loss to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night at the Parc des Princes.
However, that’s not all. Rumors over Neymar’s future in Paris also began to surface. Nonetheless, that transfer gossip continues to be debunked as L’Equipe reported (h/t Paris Fans), citing sources, that PSG’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi didn’t meet with Chelsea owner Todd Boehly to talk about a possible transfer of Neymar.
The French media outlet adds that the English club only wanted to apologize for the failure of Hakim Ziyech’s loan transfer. Furthermore, the Brazilian does not intend to pick up. Under contract in Paris until 2027, he sees himself continuing in the French capital.
If Neymar can put together a performance against Bayern Munich in the second leg to overturn PSG’s current 1-0 deficit, then perhaps rumors of a possible exit might quiet down.
