Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi appeared on the goal sheet in the capital club’s 2-1 victory over Toulouse FC on Saturday at the Parc des Princes.
After PSG found itself down 1-0, Achraf Hakimi scored a fantastic strike to equalize the contest. However, Messi wouldn’t be left off the score sheet as the 35-year-old recorded a goal off a one-touch strike.
The superb goal from the Argentine caused plenty of reaction on social media, including from former English footballer and current broadcaster Gary Lineker. The Premier League pundit went on Twitter to praise Messi for doing GOAT things.
Meanwhile, Messi continues to do what Messi does: GOATY sort of shit. https://t.co/LRthWBIdGm

PSG needed the goal to pull ahead and secure the three points. Additionally, it marked one of the few times the French giants leaned on Messi to lead the attack as Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr. were out for the Ligue 1 clash.
Nonetheless, Messi responded amazingly and now PSG has some breathing room atop the Ligue 1 standings.
