The future of Lionel Messi remains a topic of conversation as the 35-year-old’s contract expires in June. However, a recent report suggests that the Argentine would extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
Nonetheless, L’Equipe and France Football journalist Florent Torchut reported on Wednesday, citing sources, that Messi is happy in the French capital despite what the initial reporting revealed.

Torchut also noted that the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner is concentrating on his end of the season with PSG, hoping the negotiations for his extension are successful.
Furthermore, the reporting reveals that Messi wants to continue playing in Europe and has yet to receive any offers from another club, including FC Barcelona.
After the capital club fell 1-0 to Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League matchup, Messi might want to prioritize helping PSG turn around their current form as the squad hopes to make a comeback on March 8.
