Video: Neymar Calmly Chips Goalkeeper After Chaotic Deflection

After a difficult first half, Paris Saint-Germain made a few adjustments and now leads Stade de Reims at the Parc des Princes.

The goal came in the 51st minute and it began with some exquisite passing from Christophe Galtier’s side.

Juan Bernat’s pass was dummied by Achraf Hakimi and eventually fell to Lionel Messi. The Argentine took a few dribbles to free up enough space but his shot was ultimately deflected.

Lucky for PSG, the deflection fell nicely for Neymar Jr., who was able to stay onside and take a few soft touches to gain his balance and line up a perfectly executed chip over the Reims goalkeeper.

The goal for Neymar was his 12th in Ligue 1 this season.

PSG was lucky to go into halftime scoreless as Reims created by far the better chances. However, the introduction of Marco Verratti and a more aggressive attack sparked this move from PSG that ultimately led to a goal.

If PSG can hold on for the win, they should extend their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
