Paris Saint-Germain loanee Mauro Icardi has found a new lease on his career since moving to Galatasaray. After struggling to replace Edison Cavani, the Argentine sought another club this past summer transfer window.
It took to the end, but Icardi had a ticket to Istanbul to join Galatasaray. The 29-year-old has five goals and four assists in nine games for the Turkish giants and now reports over a permanent stay are beginning to surface.
Turkish journalist Mehmet Özcan reported on Thursday that Icardi wants to continue his career in Turkey after having a resurrection to his career.

Additionally, Galatasaray management is waiting for PSG to determine the transfer fee. Icardi will ask for convenience from the French giants to allow him to stay in Istanbul permanently.
PSG will be keen on moving on from Icardi, and currently, the Argentine is valued at €17.5 million per Transfermarkt. If that’s a fee that the capital club can garner from the Turkish club, they should secure the money and close the Icardi chapter.
