Transfer News: Nottingham Forest Reportedly Considering Move for Three-Time UEFA Champions League Winner

Paris Saint-Germain’s Keylor Navas has seen little action on the pitch after manager Christophe Galtier announced that Gianluigi Donnarumma is the starting goalkeeper for the French giants.

With the transfer window open for a few more days, rumors linking Navas to an exit from the capital club are beginning to pick up steam. The Athletic’s Paul Taylor reported on Tuesday that Nottingham Forest is now in the mix for the veteran shot-stopper.

Forest starting goalkeeper Dean Henderson suffered a thigh strain in their victory over Leicester City last weekend. The 25-year-old is likely to be ruled out until late February.

As a result, Forest has included the 36-year-old three-time UEFA Champions League winner on their list of options. However, they’ll have a battle for Navas.

The Costa Rica international has been linked to Bournemouth, as had Al-Nassr, a move that would see Navas reunited with former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.

Navas is under contract with PSG until 2024, which could be a factor in any possible transfer.
