Paris Saint-Germain could be looking to boost its center-back position as reports are linking the French giants to a move for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
Skriniar’s contract expires in June and the Serie A club has to decide whether to recoup a small sum in these final days of the January transfer window or let him leave as a free agent.
The 27-year-old’s agent commented on the situation as reports linking the Slovakian defender to a move to the French capital.
“A prolongation? At the moment, there is no such possibility,” Skriniar’s agent told Telenord. “We did not talk about PSG, just as it was not us who leaked our positions […] There are contacts with clubs. Not Italians.”

It’s in PSG’s best interest to get a deal done with Inter Milan to help improve their defense ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash with Bayern Munich. Adding Skriniar would allow everyone at the center back position to move down one spot on the depth chart.
Nonetheless, if the reigning Ligue 1 champions cannot secure an agreement for a transfer, many will be spotlighting the defense as one of the reasons PSG doesn’t win the Champions League.
