Paris Saint-Germain has a few days left to secure a possible deal for Inter Milan center-back Milan Skriniar, who they were after during last summer’s transfer window. However, the Serie A club held firm to their asking price.
Nonetheless, Inter Milan couldn’t reach an agreement with Skriniar and with only a few months until he becomes a free agent, the Italian club is ready to sell. La Gazzetta dello Sport reported recently that Inter Milan wants €20 million for the 27-year-old.

The Italian media outlet also reveals that PSG is considering making an offer. While the French giants could wait until the summer to sign Skriniar as a free agent, the team cannot waste this 2022-23 season.
PSG needs to be seriously contending in this window that they have Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr. As a result, if they can acquire the Slovakian defender right now and insert him into their squad, they need to do so.
Furthermore, bringing in Skriniar would allow for every player at central defense to move down one slot on the depth chart. The addition would help limit the exposure to the position, which has been a weakness all 2022-23 season.
