Paris Saint-Germain is in the market for a forward after the departure of Pablo Sarabia to Wolverhampton Wanderers. The French giants could wait until the summer to fill the position; however, they could also have an opportunity present itself.
Sky Sports Italia reported on Wednesday that PSG is one of the clubs that AS Roma is offering Nicolò Zaniolo, who can play the midfield and wing positions.
Zaniolo’s relationship with the Roma supporters is reportedly deteriorating as he’s been the subject of jeers this 2022-23 season. Additionally, it appears the Italian club is hesitant to extend the 23-year-old.

While a talented player, Zaniolo has been injury prone in his young career. After two cruciate ligament ruptures in 2020, the Italian midfielder has already missed seven games this season, notably due to a shoulder injury.
This season has also seen the Roma star not have his best productive season. Zaniolo has one goal and zero assists in 13 appearances for The She-Wolf.
Regarding a possible transfer fee, Roma reportedly would settle on a sum between €30 million and €40 million. Furthermore, the Italian club would accept a departure on loan with an obligation to buy. Nonetheless, Foot Mercato reported on Saturday PSG had yet to respond to the offer.
Marcus Thuram has been linked to PSG and would be the better option considering his form and he’ll be a free agent in June. It will be interesting to see how sporting advisor Luis Campos adds depth to the forward position.
