Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi faced off for the likely last time on Thursday, as Paris Saint-Germain came away with a 5-4 friendly win over the Riyadh All-Stars XI.

Messi opened up the scoring in the match with an early goal, while Ronaldo later responded with a double in the first half.

Ronaldo may have just met Messi on the pitch for the final time, and the Portuguese striker took to Instagram after the contest to reflect on his latest encounter with the Argentine forward.

“So happy to be back on the pitch, and on the scoresheet!!” Ronaldo wrote. “And nice to see some old friends.”
