The Argentina national team is continuing to inch closer to officially clinching a spot in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Semifinal round.
After Netherlands defender Denzel Dumfries fouled Argentina full-back Marcos Acuna in the penalty box during the second half of their quarterfinal round encounter, Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi stepped up to the plate to take the penalty attempt.
The Argentine forward redeemed himself from his penalty kick miss in the group stage fixture against Poland, as he slotted home this attempt with ease.
