Carlos Soler arrived at Paris Saint-Germain this past summer transfer window as part of sporting advisor Luis Campo’s attempt to reshape the midfield. However, the former Valencia star has been a sporadic starter.
Soler went from being a starter with his former club to drawing into the starting 11 on various occasions. As a result, the 25-year-old will have clubs calling to see if he’s open to exiting for a more prominent role.
GOAL’s Marc Mechenoua reported on Friday that Soler is a name that intrigues Atlético de Madrid. However, while Soler does question himself, he wants to succeed in his challenge at PSG.

The Spain international has appeared in 16 fixtures in all competitions, scoring four goals and recording two assists. Despite the limited minutes, Soler has produced, the midfielder obviously wants to be starting every match and not come off the bench.
It will be interesting to see if Soler stays past the January window or if he might change his heart and want to go elsewhere.
