The future of Joao Felix at Atletico Madrid remains cloudy and with the January transfer window set to open next Sunday, there are plenty of rumors regarding where the 23-year-old can end up.
Paris Saint-Germain has been a rumored destination for Felix since the capital club might want to add another striker and there’s the Portuguese connection with sporting advisor Luis Campos.
However, transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reported on Sunday that PSG has never opened concrete talks to sign Felix. The French giants are still not actively working on any January move, as the main focus will be the summer.
Another possibility for Felix outside of PSG is Manchester United, who appear to be zeroing in on the forward.
While Felix would be an excellent pickup for PSG, the cost and need to address needs in other areas, such as central defender and another midfielder, make it seems a move for Portugal is unlikely, at least in January.
Furthermore, the capital club has plenty of options for their attack, with Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar Jr. having good 2022-23 seasons.
