After reportedly pulling out of the race for Palmeiras’ wonderkid Endrick, Paris Saint-Germain is looking at the Brazilian club’s other talented prospect, Willian Estevão, deemed the “new Messi.
Estevão, known as Messinho, has not yet signed a professional contract with Palmeiras. However, since he’s 15, the teenager will not be allowed to leave Brazil until he turns 18.
As a result, Europe’s top clubs are eyeing the teenager and GOAL (h/t Paris Fans) reported that Arsenal and Barcelona have contacted the player’s entourage to find out about the Brazilian’s situation.
The English and the Catalans intend to follow the athlete in the next two years to present a proposal. PSG also did make an offer to snatch him from the Palmeiras training center.
PSG proposed to pay a purchase preference and, later, to exercise it to ensure that no other European club did not steal the Palmeiras prospect. However, the Brazilian club denied this proposal for the teenager.
