As a result, many are asking when the 35-year-old will return to the French giants and a recent report from L’Equipe (h/t Ole) reveals when PSG can expect Messi to be back in training to resume the 2022-23 club football season.
The French outet reveals there’s the Argentine still does not have a stipulated return date. The capital club resumes Ligue 1 play against Strasbourg on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes, which Messi will miss.
Furthermore, the publication says Messi will not be present on New Year’s Day when PSG heads on the road to face Lens and there’s doubt that the veteran forward will arrive for the French Cup Round of 32 matchup against the Chateauroux five days later.
L’Equip speculates that Messi could be on the pitch against Angers on Jan. 11 at the Parc des Princes.
