France has faced plenty of injuries leading up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup and was also dealing with some adversity to start the matchup against Australia on Tuesday.
Nonetheless, France was able to dig themselves out of a hole and now Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has announced his presence at the tournament by scoring a goal on a header off a cross from Barcelona star Ousmane Dembélé.
Mbappe’s goal gives the French squad some breathing room.
