Carlos Soler, like Nuno Mendes, had a hand in two of the first three Paris Saint-Germain goals in Sunday’s matchup against Auxerre. The Spanish midfielder scored the second goal for the French giants and then had a hand in the third.
Soler took the ball on the counterattack and placed it perfectly for Achraf Hakimi, who was sprinting down the pitch and beat the lone Auxerre defender allowing him a 1v1 chance against the goalkeeper.
Rather than passing to Mbappe, Hakimi had a goal-scoring mentality and found the back of the net.
