In need of a goal to move back into first place in Champions League Group H, Nuno Mendes delivered for Paris Saint-Germain in its away matchup against Juventus.
Moments after being subbed into the match, Mendes raced down the left flanks and received a keen ball from Kylian Mbappe in the final third. The Portuguese left-back had multiple passing options, but in the end, he took on a stout shot attempt and scored his first goal of this season’s Champions League competition.
