In need of a goal in the Argentina national team’s 2022 FIFA World Cup group stage matchup against Mexico, Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi delivered in dominant fashion.
After receiving a pass outside of the box in the second half, the PSG star decided to take on a long-distance shot, and in typical Messi fashion, he scored a stunning goal. Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa did not have much of a chance to save this thunderous shot attempt from the Argentine forward.

As it stands, Argentina now holds the second-place spot in World Cup Group C.
