Report Reveals One of the Key Reasons Why PSG Will Not Push To Sign Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently a free agent after his contract was terminated by Manchester United club officials last week. The two sides opted to part ways via a mutual agreement.

Ronaldo is now essentially auditioning for potential interested suitors at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, but he will at the least not be hearing from Paris Saint-Germain club officials anytime soon.

According to ESPN’s Julien Laurens, PSG is not interested in signing Ronaldo over the upcoming January transfer window. Laurens notes that PSG turned down the chance to sign the Portuguese striker over the recent summer transfer window and will not make a push to bring him to the club in the coming months.

Laurens also adds that PSG instead has its “focus” on Palmeiras forward Endrick. Rather than signing Ronaldo to a hefty yearly salary deal, the Ligue 1 powerhouse is aiming to win the sweepstakes for the Brazilian talent.

PSG is preparing to send Palmeiras another transfer offer for Endrick after the Brazilian club turned down the Ligue 1 side’s €45 million bid for him.

In the big picture, it will be noteworthy to see just which club Ronaldo ends up signing with for the second half of the European club season.
