After securing a UEFA Champions League away win over Juventus on matchday six, Paris Saint-Germain will once again be away from the Parc des Princes, as it will square off with Lorient on Ligue 1 matchday 14.
It may be that time of the season for PSG manager Christophe Galtier to rest some of his key players. For one, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has started in all of PSG’s 20 total fixtures in all competitions so far this season, and he could be in need of a day off.
As noted by RMC Sport, Galtier could ultimately elect to not rule out multiple players who have been regular starters as of late.
Donnarumma; Mukiele, Ramos, Marquinhos, Mendes; Danilo, Verratti, Vitinha; Neymar; Mbappe, Ekitike
Lionel Messi will miss the third fixture of his second campaign with PSG, as he will continue to be in treatment for an inflamed Achilles tendon. In his place, Galtier could decide to call on Neymar to be the team’s central attacking midfielder against Lorient.
PSG has won 13 of its last 15 meetings against Lorient in all competitions.
