Paris Saint-Germain has one more match left on its schedule before the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as it will meet AJ Auxerre for a Ligue 1 home fixture on Sunday. A total of 12 PSG players will be heading to the World Cup, and as it stands, none of them have been ruled out for the league matchup against AJ Auxerre.

As PSG manager Christophe Galtier noted during a press conference on Friday, only Fabian Ruiz, who is nursing a hamstring injury, has been officially ruled out for the contest.

“I’m not going to spare anyone,” Galtier said. “I have all the players available except Fabian (Ruiz). We’ll see about Keylor (Navas), who has joined the session. At the moment, no player has come to me directly or indirectly to say that he does not want to play or then that he has a fear of doing this last game.”

It remains to be seen just which starting 11 Galtier will elect to roll with for the fixture. In the big picture, the 12 PSG players who are set to represent their national teams at the World Cup may have a lingering worry about possibly sustaining an injury during the home matchup against AJ Auxerre.
