Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos wants the capital club to secure one of the top young talents coming out of Brazil in Palmeiras’ Endrick.
The teenager is reportedly followed by the French giants, Real Madrid and Chelsea, with his father speaking to Brazilian media outlet Canal do Nicola, providing insight into what’s occurring behind the scenes.
“Paris Saint-Germain are the only club that opened negotiations with Palmeiras with an official proposal, as things stand,” Endrick’s father said (h/t Fabrizio Romano). “There are many club from different countries keen on signing him. PSG have already moved.”
PSG wants to secure what could be the next great talent to come out of Brazil, and this is new territory for the capital club, which has rarely secured the top young talent out of Brazil. However, the Ligue 1 side did bring over Lucas Moura straight from the South American nation in 2013.
Nonetheless, Campos wants to change this and challenge top clubs for these high-upside young talents that either go straight to the likes of Real Madrid, such as the case of Rodrygo and Vini Jr.
Endrick won’t be able to come to Paris until he’s 18, so should Campos land him now, they will be some waiting PSG will have to do, but it could be well worth the patience.
