For the most part, Paris Saint-Germain forwards Kylian Mbappe and Neymar have enjoyed quality success on the pitch together this season. While there have been some minor hiccups along the way, the two forwards have continued to build keen chemistry.
Off the pitch, it is reportedly another story.
A report from RMC Sport shared details about the locker room disarray within PSG this season. For one, Neymar has “misunderstanding” over the privileges, which the report does not pinpoint, that Mbappe received from the club after the French forward signed off on the mega multiyear contract deal in May.
The report adds that when it comes to this matter, Neymar “does not hide, in private” his confusion over why the club decided to hand out special privileges to Mbappe.
As mentioned, there have been a few minor conflicts between Neymar and Mbappe as of late, including their penalty disagreement during PSG’s Ligue 1 home fixture against Montpellier earlier this season. Still, the two have seemingly remained on good terms on the pitch.
For now, much attention within PSG is set on its upcoming Ligue 1 home fixture against Olympique de Marseille on matchday 11.
