Report: Real Madrid Awaiting Green Light From Perez to Steal PSG Transfer Target

While Paris Saint-Germain hired Luis Campos to be their sporting director and build a team that can contend for the UEFA Champions League right now, the Portuguese club chief has an eye on the future.

Over the last few days, the French giants have been linked heavily to the latest wonderkid to come out of Brazil, Palmeiras’ Endrick. According to a report, Campos was in South America to see the 16-year-old play live.

Campos appears to be spearheading this file, but PSG encounters plenty of competition to sign the teenager to perhaps become the face of the club in the future.

Real Madrid is one of the many challengers that might arm-wrestle Endrick away from the Ligue 1 side. Marca’s Mario Cortegana reported on Wednesday that the Spanish club is awaiting the green light from club president Florentino Pérez to pursue the Palmeiras youngster.

Cortegana adds that PSG is moving with much interest but stresses that there’s still no concrete offer from Les Parisiens. Additionally, he debunks the rumor of the French side offering €20 million, saying there was no bid since it is known that the price will be considerably higher.
