Report: PSG’s Projected Starting 11 for the Champions League Home Matchup vs. Maccabi Haifa

After scoring three past AC Ajaccio on Ligue 1 matchday 12, Paris Saint-Germain will now have a UEFA Champions League home matchup against Maccabi Haifa on Tuesday.

PSG comes into the match in dire need of a win to maintain its first-place standing in Champions League Group H. The current Ligue 1 leaders sure will also keep a close watch on Benfica’s home showdown against Serie A side Juventus on the day.

As noted by UEFA’s official website, PSG manager Christophe Galtier could roll out this starting 11 for matchday five of this season’s Champions League group stage.

Donnarumma; Hakimi, Ramos, Marquinhos, Bernat; Vitinha, Ruiz, Sanches; Messi, Mbappe, Neymar

PSG will be without Marco Verratti for this contest, as he has been handed a one-match yellow card suspension in the Champions League. Galtier will have multiple options for just who will replace Verratti in the starting lineup, and he could opt to select Renato Sanches for the role.

Messi has been a top performer in the Champions League this season thanks to his three total goal contributions recorded in four such matches played. PSG sure could use another world-class showing from the Argentine in this competition.

PSG heads into this fixture riding a two-match winning streak in all competitions.
