Report: Napoli Brushing Off PSG, Real Madrid Interest to Keep Serie A Sensation

Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos injected a lot of youth into the squad this past summer transfer window. The theme is likely to continue as the capital club eyes Napoli forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

90min reported on Thursday that PSG, along with Manchester City and Real Madrid, have sent scouts and intermediaries to take a closer look at the 21-year-old.

The Georgia international has settled effortlessly into Serie A competition and is making his £10m price-tag look like an absolute bargain. Kvaratskhelia has scored seven goals and recorded eight assists in 14 appearances for the Italian club.

While Kvaratskhelia is generating interest from top European clubs, Napoli isn’t ready to hand him over. 90min adds in their reporting that the player and Napoli are not considering a transfer in the next 12 months.

Kvaratskhelia is under contract until 2027 after arriving from Rubin Kazan earlier in the year after his contract was suspended following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

It’s easy to reject any interest now, but Napoli might be swayed next summer by a bid they cannot refuse.
