Although the summer transfer has come and gone, it’s not stopping various rumors to surfaced as January is two months away or even transactions that will be occurring next year, which is the case for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Foot Mercato reported on Friday that Aubameyang’s stint with Chelsea could be short, just like his tenure with FC Barcelona didn’t last long. Additionally, the French media outlet adds that PSG could be a possible landing spot.
Aubameyang has two goals in four appearances for Chelsea, and with the coaching change going from Thomas Tuchel to Graham Potter. As a result, he could see minutes declined.
Should Chelsea not retain Aubameyang, it could allow him to leave the Premier League club next summer. Furthermore, PSG could be a realistic destination for the veteran forward.
With Paris failing to find a second world-class striker this summer, Aubameyang would represent a significant attacking option to use for the next season.
