Mbappe Ranks First Among All Players in Europe’s Top Five Leagues In This Key Goal Contributions Stat

To not much of a surprise, Kylian Mbappe has been on top of his game over the calendar year.

Mbappe was a standout performer in Paris Saint-Germain’s recent 3-0 Ligue 1 away win over AC Ajaccio, as he recorded three total goal contributions. The French forward scored a pair of goals in the contest, increasing his goals total in the league campaign to 10.

Overall, Mbappe upped his goal contributions tally for both PSG and the France national team this year to an astounding 54, which ranks first among all players in Europe’s top five leagues for club and country. PSG forwards Lionel Messi (46) and Neymar (43) also rank in the top six of this goal contributions leaderboard.

Barring any injury or a major drop-off in play, Mbappe should soon reach the 60 goal contributions mark in all competitions this year, and he could inch closer to achieving this feat in PSG’s upcoming UEFA Champions League home group stage fixture against Maccabi Haifa.
