Paris Saint-Germain secured its 11th win of the Ligue 1 season on matchday 13, as it came away with a 4-3 win over Troyes. It was far from an effortless performance from PSG in the contest, especially as Troyes managed to tally 16 total shots.

For PSG manager Christophe Galtier, as he touched on during his post-match press conference (via L’Equipe), he sees that his side simply must be more efficient when off the ball.

“I’m going to talk about it with the players, we’re going to correct things,” Galtier said. “Because with the offensive quality that we have, we can not, and we must not give the opportunity to the opponent to hope, we must prohibit it. … It will take great rigor, great demand on the level of reflection to not repeat this kind of mistake.”

Troyes became the first side to score at least three goals against PSG in any competition. Overall, PSG allowed a combined 29 shots over its last two fixtures.

For now, PSG will turn its attention to the upcoming away clash with Juventus on matchday six of this season’s UEFA Champions League group stage.
