Video: Why Juventus is “Difficult’ Team to Maneuver, Christophe Galtier Says

Juventus presents the strongest opponent that Paris Saint-Germain will be facing off against in the UEFA Champions League group stage after the two European giants landed in Group H.

Ahead of their Matchday 1 matchup on Tuesday, manager Christophe Galtier spoke with the media. The French tactician discussed their opponent as PSG attempts to kick off their European campaign with three points.

“It’s a team with a lot of experience, with very high-level players and a coach who is used to this competition,” Galtier told reporters (h/t Canal Supporters).

“They are undefeated in Serie A and have only conceded two goals. It’s a strong team in transition. There are very high-level players, a coach who knows this competition very well. It is very difficult to maneuver.”

Furthermore, Galtier was asked about Massimiliano Allegri’s remarks about his expectations for the Italian side ahead of the fixture.

“Allegri’s statements about the fact that Paris is not his real opponent? I leave him his words with surely the malice of an Italian coach,” Galtier added.
