Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi has snapped his goal drought.
Messi played the role of a playmaker in PSG’s last couple of matches, but this time around, he got on the scoresheet in the UEFA Champions League away group stage fixture against Maccabi Haifa.
In the late stages of the first half, Kylian Mbappe pushed up play into the penalty box and dished off a pass over to Messi, where the Argentine then notched an effortless goal for his first score of this season’s Champions League competition.

This was just the goal that PSG needed after falling behind by a 1-0 score early in the fixture.
Mbappe did not get an assist on Messi goal, the ball hit a Maccabi player and bounced towards Messi for him to score
