The careers of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are coming to an end in the next few years. A former Paris Saint-Germain player explained why Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé could take their spots as the game’s best players.
In an interview with Goal, Mohamed Sissoko stated that these two young stars have the capabilities to begin their debate of who’s the better player in football once Messi and Ronaldo hang up their boots in the coming years.
“Because they have quality,” Sissoko said. “They are scoring a lot of goals and is a different player also, so I think Mbappé is top player, Haaland also, so I think he can reach Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi for sure.”
