Report: PSG’s Projected Starting 11 for the Champions League Away Fixture vs. Maccabi Haifa

Paris Saint-Germain will have its second UEFA Champions League group stage fixture of the season on Wednesday, as it will meet Israeli side Maccabi Haifa.

PSG enters the match on a four-match winning streak in all competitions, which includes last week’s 2-1 victory over Juventus in Champions League group stage play.

As noted by TyC Sports, PSG manager Christophe Galtier could once again roll out a formidable starting 11 for a crucial match this season.

Donnarumma; Pereira, Marquinhos, Ramos; Hakimi, Verratti, Vitinha, Bernat; Messi, Mbappe, Neymar

Marco Verratti earned a start in PSG’s 1-0 Ligue 1 win over Brest on matchday seven, where he completed 73 passes and two tackles in 63 minutes played. He should go on to feature against Maccabi Haifa in PSG’s double-pivot midfield setup.

Galtier opted against resting Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe in PSG’s league win against Brest, although the latter two forwards were substituted off the pitch in the second half. It will be noteworthy to see on just how fresh they each will be for this Champions League contest.

PSG aims to move into first place in Champions League Group H following matchday two.
