Paris Saint-Germain loanee Mauro Icardi made his long-awaited debut for Turkish side Galatasaray in its 2-1 Super Lig home victory over Konyaspor on Friday. The Argentine forward was subbed into the match in the second half and essentially did not contribute much during his time on the pitch.
Galatasaray did go up 2-1 in the contest when Icardi was on the pitch, and while it looked as if he was going to be credited with a header goal, it was instead ruled as an own goal by Konyaspor defender Francisco Calvo.
Overall, Icardi recorded a mere two touches during his 28 minutes of playing time in the fixture.

Whether it will be Icardi dropping deep to get involved in the build-up of play or the Galatasaray forwards upfront accommodating to the forward by continually sending in key passes to him in the penalty box, much sure must change after his debut with the club.
